The first step to getting rid of chapped lips is easy and free…HYDRATE! 

One of the most fundamental steps in achieving healthy, moisturized lips is to stay hydrated. Did you know that dehydration is often the culprit behind dry and chapped lips? If you’re not drinking enough water, your lips are more likely to become parched. 

So if you’re a constant dry lip sufferer, try drinking more water and eating water-rich foods like fruits and vegetables to boost your hydration levels.

Create Customized Eyeshadow Palettes with Seint

How to Choose Summer Eyeshadow Colors

Summer means warmer weather, longer days, and beautiful sunsets, so I like to choose colors that reflect the warmer season. Warm weather means warm colors. When you think of warm colors, think of the colors associated with fire, like reds, oranges, and yellows. If those colors seem too bold for you, you can soften them with golds and pinks.

Here are a few suggestions:

• Zion (matte)
• Stay Golden (matte)
• Leo (matte)
• Gold Digger (shimmer)
• Sabrina (shimmer)
• Soul Mate (shimmer)

Most of the colors in your summer eyeshadow palette will likely include these warm shades. But it can also be fun to add an extra bold pop of color here and there with an eyeshadow that is a deeper, cooler-toned shade. So, for cool colors think blues, purples, and greens. I think when used properly, a cooler toned color can contrast nicely with the warmer shades and bring out your natural eye color. Here are a few cooler toned eyeshadow suggestions that would be great for a summer eyeshadow palette:

• As If (shimmer)
• Bayou (shimmer)
• Denim (shimmer)
• Kin (shimmer)
• Mi Hija (matte)
• #33 (shimmer)

Finally, when you’re creating your summer eyeshadow palette, be sure to include a few shimmers to the mix! I always love having a nice shimmer to my eyeshadow, and a good shimmer will perfectly compliment the natural golden glow you’ll have during the summer months.  Shimmery eyeshadows are great for on top of your lid or on the inner corner of your eye.

How to Use Seint IIID Foundation

The four colors that make up up Seint IIID Foundation are easy to apply and will give your face the depth and dimension that so often gets lost with traditional foundation. And to save you even more time, you can apply them all with the same brush! If you only want to use one brush, I recommend using the Seint Buff Brush. This brush is specifically designed to work with Seint cream products to provide flawless coverage every time. You can see a tutorial using this brush HERE. And if you’re a beginner or low on time, you can even apply the makeup with your fingers and blend it in quickly with the Blush and Bronzer Brush, another favorite of mine! Seint Highlight

To apply, start with the Seint Highlight. You can use this highlight in so many ways! Think of this color as your main color, similar to your traditional foundation shade. What is the Difference?

Bronzer and contouring are two very different techniques. Each technique utilizes a different tone of color as well. We usually think of makeup as covering our face, and while contour does add coverage (or at least Seint’s does), bronzer is sheerer in nature and is not meant to be used as a way to cover blemishes or other imperfections. But don’t worry! With my complete guide to bronzer and contour, you will feel like a pro.

Contour is used to mimic the natural shadows of your face. You place contour on the areas of your face where natural shadows fall. This will accentuate those shadows and add depth and dimension to your face. Because it is meant to mimic shadows, the color of contour should be darker than your natural skin tone and should be cool-toned with an ashy undertone. 

In contrast, Bronzer is all about adding warmth to your face. Bronzer does not contain any coverage at all. Instead, it has a much more sheer application. It should be placed on the highest points of your face where the sun will hit first.  Bronzer will give your face a more sunkissed, warm glow. That will be the biggest visual difference when shopping for bronzer and contour- the undertones are completely opposite!

Why should you apply contour?

Let’s think about our makeup routine. We put on foundation to even out our skin color and hide any blemishes. But foundation is one dimensional and one color. The application of foundation tends to remove the appearance of the natural definition of our faces and leaves our faces looking flat. To combat that, we use contour to add that dimension back in. 

The purpose of contour is to add back in shadows and definition to your face. Contour is ashy in nature with gray/cool undertones. You want this! You want to avoid anything warm. The ashy tones of contour will mimic the natural shadows of your face, which is exactly what you are trying to do with contour. 

Guide to Apply Contour

Contour should be placed where the natural shadows fall on your face to give extra depth and dimension. The contour in iiiD foundation is part of the foundation and provides coverage all on its own. It can be placed directly onto the skin and doesn’t need to be layered on top of other makeup. The areas you want to focus on are along the hairline of the forehead, in the hollows of your cheekbones, and along the jawline. You can also add some down the sides of your nose. Contouring will sculpt your cheekbones, narrow your nose, define your jaw, and make the forehead appear smaller. I have a great tutorial on Instagram under the highlight called ‘Contour’.

Why should you apply Bronzer?

Bronzer is helpful in giving your skin a naturally warm and sun-kissed glow. This is especially helpful during the winter months when our skin is missing out on some much-needed sun! Look for a product that is just a little warmer than your skin tone; you don’t want to choose something that ends up looking orange on your skin. Seint’s Bella Bronzer is the perfect shade and will give you a gorgeous sun-kissed glow, no matter your skin tone. 

Guide to applying Bronzer

When it comes to using bronzer, it should be applied with a fluffy brush that has more wispy bristles. My favorite brush is the Blush and Bronzer brush. Swirl the fluffy end of the Blush and Bronzer Brush around the Bella Bronzer and apply it to your face using soft, circular motions along the high parts of your face. 

Start by applying it onto the apples of your cheeks, directly above your contour. This adds a pretty, warm glow to your cheeks. Your face will have even more definition by adding in some warmth and a little bit of sheer coverage using the bronzer. And then look for the areas the sun is going to hit, and give a little swirl of product to those areas! Some areas you might want to include bronzer besides your cheekbones are on the edge of your chin, the tip of your nose, and the outer edges of your forehead. 

Bronzer vs. Contour

Using Contour and Bronzer is easy once you know how to apply them both. And it is made even simpler when using a makeup line like Seint. The key is just using the right colors/tones in the right places on your face. So just be sure to follow my complete guide to bronzer and contour! To review, Bronzer goes on the high parts of your face to give sheer coverage and a sun-kissed glow. And contour will provide you with actual coverage and will mimic the shadows of your face.

What is a Seint Artist?

To start your journey as a Seint Artist, it is in your best interest to sign up with another artist. I am a top leader, seller, and recruiter with Seint, and when you sign up under me, I will share my vast experience as an artist and business woman, and become an invaluable asset to you as you first get started. I lead an incredible team of women that I absolutely love mentoring. When you sign up as a Seint Artist with me, I provide exclusive coaching and resources that will guide you through the ins and outs of Seint, the beauty industry, and running a successful business. You will learn everything you need to know so that you can grow and succeed in your business.

How much can I earn as a Seint Artist?

Seint offers an extremely generous compensation plan!  As a Seint Artist you can make anywhere from 20% – 40% on every Seint product sold through your replicated Seint Website (which the company provides). The more you sell throughout the month, the more commission you will receive on those sales. 

Payday is every Friday! This paycheck reflects the base commission of 20% from everything sold in the previous week. Then, every month on the 10th, you will receive a bonus check that includes any commissions you received over the 20%. The more you sell, the higher the commission you will receive!

Team bonuses are also paid out on the bonus check you can receive on the 10th of each month. You can earn team bonuses from the sales of individuals signed up somewhere underneath you in the organization. These can range anywhere from 2% – 15%, and can add up very quickly!

Do I have to sign up Artists under me?

Building a team is completely optional. Of course building up your team is encouraged, because as I discussed above, you can receive additional commission. But don’t stress! I consider myself a veteran and will share everything you need to know about growing your business, including building a successful team and organization, when you sign up under me! I will be there every step of the way to encourage you to grow your business in a way that best suits your needs and desires.

Is there a monthly fee for being a Seint Artist?

After purchasing the initial kit, there is a small monthly fee of $11.95 US/ $14.95 CAD. This back office fee covers the cost of your replicated Seint website, free shipping for customers, and all shipping and handling, as well as customer service, being handled by Seint. As a Seint artist, you do not have to carry inventory or deal with any of the overhead or ancillary services that are required by a lot of other direct selling companies and brick and mortar businesses, making this minimal back office fee worth every penny!

Do I have to sell a certain amount of product each month?

There is no requirement to sell a certain amount of product each month. You will maintain your status as a Seint Artist as long as you pay the monthly back office fee. It doesn’t matter how much time may lapse between sales, or how much you sell in a month. You do not need to meet any kind of quota in order to get paid your base commission of 20% when you do get a sale! 

I think it’s important to also note that you do not have to talk about, share, or post a certain number of times about Seint. You are in charge of your business and its growth! You determine how and when you grow your business. 

What if I am not a makeup expert?

This is a great question, and one of the reasons I almost didn’t become a Seint Artist. I am a lawyer by trade, and before I started with Seint, I was not a makeup expert! But of course, Seint is absolutely wonderful. They provide ample training resources to become well versed in the product and how to use it. I will also work closely with you in the beginning. We will handle color matches together, and I will share everything you need to know about being a Seint Artist.

How do I grow my Seint business?

Hopefully you have caught on by now – this business is yours to control! There are so many wonderful options for growing your business, and you can choose whatever way is the best fit for you. I’ve seen women achieve great success with one-on-one makeovers, Facebook beauty groups, online parties, Facebook business pages, Tik-Tok, YouTube, Pinterest, Blogging, Instagram- you name it! The key is to choose the way you want to share your business, and consistently show up.

Would I receive a discount on Seint products?

But maybe you’ve also noticed that this is also a business; a job that I love and feel so passionate about! I am a top artist and leader at Seint, and started this amazing journey back in 2017. I had no idea how much I would personally grow and benefit from becoming a Seint Artist when I first signed up, but it has completely changed me and my life, in some of the most incredible ways! Today I am going to share the top 5 reasons I became a Seint Artist and 3 reasons why I almost didn’t!

#1 Reason I became a Seint Artist: Connection

I signed up as an Artist as a mom of 4 little kids, ages 5 and under. And then I became pregnant with my 5th baby just 2 short months later. I felt lost in motherhood, and Seint reminded me of who I was again — both on the outside and inside. Not only did I feel beautiful, but when I became a Seint artist I was immediately connected with an amazing community of fellow artists. My customers have become dear friends, and of course, I love the incredible community I have built over on social media! Being a part of a group of women who love to lift each other up, support each other’s goals, and encourage one another to be the very best version of themselves is so fulfilling!

#2 Additional Income Potential

These days, having one job that provides for all of life’s necessities can be difficult to find. And even with dual incomes, you are likely both still tied to a 9-5. When I felt that nudge to become a Seint Artist, I knew the potential of some extra income could do so much for my family. They always say that the most successful people have multiple streams of income. And so the opportunity to open up another potential avenue of income just made sense. Because once your income is no longer tied to just the necessities, it can broaden your ability to contribute to things like the cost of a new vehicle or home, paying for extra-curricular activities for your children, or even taking a fun trip as a family to Disneyland. The possibilities are endless. I love that by becoming a Seint Artist, and putting in the work (which is actually fun!), I am able to offer even more support to my family financially, now and in the future!

#3 No Personal Stock as a Seint Artist

I have never been a part of another MLM. But I know that a major complaint from reps with different companies is having to maintain their own personal stock in order to sell their company’s product. I love that with Seint, I don’t need to keep any product in my home! The sales are made directly online and attached to my shop number so I earn a commission with each order that goes through my link — just like affiliate links that influencers use! This eliminates a lot of overheard! Seint takes care of all shipping and handling, customer service, etc. This means I get to focus on sharing about the products I love!

#4: Set your own hours

Life comes with slow and busy seasons! And right now I am in a very busy season! I love that with Seint, I can set my own hours and adjust as needed to accommodate my needs and the needs of my family. By becoming a Seint Artist, I took on a job that allows me flexibility to balance the season of life that I am in with young children and running my own legal practice. Being a Seint Artist allows me to still put kids down for a nap, do car pool, meet with clients, make dinner, jump on conference calls, and meet all the other demands of my life! Consistency is key, but that can mean just showing up in the little pockets of time throughout my day. When you are ready to really dive in, this business is ready to grow with you!

#5 Low month-to-month investment

While there is an initial investment of an artist kit, once you’ve signed up as an artist,  the month-to-month cost is very affordable. There is a low back-office fee of $11.95 US | $14.95 CAD per month. This back office fee goes towards free shipping for customers, maintaining your replicated Seint website, customer service, etc. The cost is minimal, but the benefits are substantial!

All of the benefits of becoming a Seint Artist were clear to me when I looked into signing up. I was so excited to join a community, create a business where I set my own hours, and that would provide extra income for me and my family. But there were a few concerns I had that almost stopped me from joining this amazing company.

The reasons I almost didn’t become a Seint Artist

#1: I’m not a makeup artist

The first reason I almost didn’t sign up as a Seint artist is that I’m not a makeup artist. Hello, I am a lawyer by trade! I spent years investing in my education and building my practice as an attorney. But after trying Seint’s products as a customer first, I immediately fell in love with the way this makeup made me feel. I loved how simple and easy it was to put my makeup on each morning. And that’s what I reminded myself of when I decided to join as an Artist. I loved the products and I wanted other women to have the same amazing experience I did with them! If you love something, it’s easy to want to share and educate others on what makes it so incredible!

#2 Initial Cost of Kit

I mentioned that one of the reasons I became a Seint Artist was because the month-to-month investment is so low. #3 Self Doubt

When I looked into becoming a Seint Artist, at first I was unsure I could devote the necessary time and energy to grow a business. But once I took the plunge, I quickly came to realize just how amazing this business model is. Not only is it flexible, but it gives me a fun and creative outlet that I enjoy being a part of! 

I’ve been with Seint almost since the very beginning, and I am so glad I didn’t let fear stop me from becoming a Seint Artist. All the reasons I became a Seint artist outweigh every reason I almost didn’t! I am so grateful for this incredible opportunity to be a part of a large team of amazing women. We support and encourage each other every step of the way. This is something I never envisioned myself doing! After falling in love with the products, I just couldn’t shake the feeling that this business was something I needed to do. I am so grateful I took the leap! My life has been so blessed by Seint over the last several years. I know this is still just the beginning!!
